Buzzant (also refereed to as Buzz TNG or Buzzant TNG) was an antweight, created by Team MadScientists that first appeared in AWS 5 and lasted until AWS 11, having had a mixed range of success with its best performance coming in AWS 9. The team also entered with The Mistress, Mesmer 2, Legion and Feeble, two of whom appeared on Robot Wars.

AWS 5[]
In the first round, Buzzant faced Close Shave and Pants where it qualified alongside Pants.
In the second round, Buzzant faced Ickle Xno and DragStar where it was eliminated.
AWS 6[]
In the first round, Buzzant faced Combat Ant. Buzzant attempted to attack weapon on, but this resulted in Combat Ant's bludgeoner destroying the weaponry of Buzzant completely. Buzzant then turned to attack from the side to shove Combat Ant off the edge, but this did not work as Combat Ant turned quickly and tore off the back panel of Buzzant. With nothing against Combat Ant, Buzzant purposefully drove off the side to prevent more damage.
AWS 7[]
Buzz TNG is attacked by TriumphAnt
In the first round, Buzz TNG faced Abel, Triant and TriumphAnt. Though unknown how, Triant was eliminated quick into the battle. As Abel trundled closer to Buzz TNG, TriumphAnt charged in and knocked Buzz TNG over whilst bashing Abel out of the way. It's unknown what happened next but Buzz TNG was eliminated.
AWS 8[]
Pants close to falling off as Buzzant attacks Psycho Ant
In the first round, Buzzant faced the familiar Pants and Psycho Ant. Pants immediately attacked Buzzant with the axe but managed to wedge itself upwards with Psycho Ant coming in from behind and flipping Pants over. Pants was attacked again and was stuck on its back, unable to self-right as Buzzant targeted Psycho Ant, damaging the flipper with its cutting disc. Pants continued to struggle to self-right as the fight continued and it drew dangerously close to the edge where it eventually fell.
Buzzant off the arena
In the second round, Buzzant faced Chronotrigger and Flippant. Immediately, Chronotrigger attacked Buzzant and slammed it against the arena wall before shunting it off the arena. Chronotrigger then turned and attacked Flippant, despite both robots having already won, by attempting to use its axe, but it missed and jumped upwards.
AWS 9[]
Buzzant damages the top armour of Bot With No Name
In the first round, Buzzant faced Duck and Bot With No Name. Buzzant attacked Duck from the get-go while Bot With No Name came in from the other side, battering Duck and Buzzant. Buzzant flicked over with the saw pointed at Bot With No Name and attempted to slice the top of Bot With No Name which managed to buckle the top armour slightly.
In the second round, Buzzant Faced Type-0 and the familiar Combat Ant. Combat Ant used its weapon to smash into Buzzant, sending it on its side and almost out of the arena as it then targeted Type-0. Type-0, however, got to grips with Combat Ant and pushed it into the saw blade of Buzzant. It is unknown how Combat Ant lost.
Odyssey gets under Buzzant and dumps it off
In the third round, Buzzant faced Odyssey. Odyssey charged into Buzzant, toppling it and causing gripping issues for the robot. Odyssey adjusted itself as it scooped up Buzzant, however Buzzant was giving Odyssey some trouble, using the saw to get into the vitals. However, Odyssey managed to push back and proceeded to dump it out of the arena.
AWS 11[]
Rampant shunts Buzzant off
In the first round, Buzzant faced Rampant. Rampant immediately charged into Buzzant, who retaliated by using its saw blade against the top of Rampant. Rampant struggled to push Buzzant off at first, due to Buzzant's slippery nature and pushing back. Soon however, Rampant slammed Buzzant against the corner and it fell off the arena. This was the last time Buzzant fought in Antweight World Series.
